Prenatal Vitamins and Pregnancy Books

Well, I've been able to check off some to do's on my list. I started my prenatal vitamins (btw, still no morning sickness, yay!) and picked up some books for Justin and I to start reading. I got What to expect when you're expecting, a pregnancy journal, and a funny one for Jus called My Boys Can Swim: The Official Guy's Guide to Pregnancy. I'm going to surprise him with it and a little card from me, when he gets off work today. Hopefully he will like it. I think I may get Jenny McCarthy's Belly Laughs later on too.

Things are going well, but the fatigue has set in. Today is my day off work and when I laid down to start reading What to expect... I was out before I got through the first page.

So, check it out, the baby is the size of a raspberry.  He/she has eyes, arms that bend at the elbows, legs that bend at the knees, and is developing little webbed fingers and toes. Its just so exciting.
Ok, so here is a poll question for you guys.  Everyone keeps asking if we are going to find out the sex of the baby. We've received some mixed advice, but are leaning towards finding out. I also have 3 friends that are pregnant right now too. 2 of them are going to wait, 1 of them is going to find out. What do you think?

  4. With regard to knowing what the baby is prior: Patience can be more than a virtue, it can be a time to devolop unconditional love...no preferences,no expectations,no dissapointments, just love.
    I love you,
    Dave

  5. Ken and I always loved the anticipation and excitement of NOT knowing. For us, it took the already phenomenal experience to a whole new level.
But that was the right decision for us -- part of the fun is you and Jus get to decide what's right for you. :)
