Change of plans!

Well, there has been a change of plans. This blog is going to change content, as Justin and I have some wonderful news...we are expecting our first child! So, as per my Dr's directions it is no longer appropriate for me to try to lose weight. In fact, I should be gaining weight. So, we've decided to have this be our baby blog. Here we'll log all our updates. We have an appointment to have our first ultrasound this Tuesday. We should be able to hear the heartbeat! Well, we'd love to hear from you guys, so please feel free to leave comments and advice. Again, here we go!

    Congratulations again! Pa-pa and I are so happy for both of you and know you will make great parents. We are very excited to be great grandparents. Wow! I am available if needed or wanted when little "mcnugget" arrives.

    I wanted to be the first one to post on your new blog, but my parents beat me to it. Congratulations!!! I am so excited to be a grandmother, I can hardly stand it. Take care of each other and little "mcnugget". I love you, Mom

    Congratulations to you two!! The universe will now reveal a whole new set of wondrous adventures for you to cherish. What fun and what an honor!!
    Your mom is right when she says the unsolicited advice will come. Just know that

    1.) you already know more than you think you do and
    2.) listen to people's advice but choose what works best for you. Not every method works for everyone. And who knows, you will probably develop a new and better approach all your own. :)

    We love you and are excited to keep up with your progress through this blog -- great idea, btw.
