Baby's 1st Picture
Well today was the big day, and it went splendidly! The ultrasound techs were so sweet and nice and walked Justin and I through the whole thing. They started by taking measurements to determine a more accurate due date. Then, they turned the screen for Justin and I to see. It was truly amazing to see our child for the first time. We could clearly see the little heart beating. They also pointed out the little arm and leg buds beginning to grow. It finally made it all real to me. There really is a little person in there :) From the measurements, they determined that I am about 8 weeks and 1 day along (setting us back only 2 weeks). My estimated due date is now Nov. 3rd, 2009. Justin and I joked about having a little Halloween baby. After the ultrasound, we went to see my Doctor. There they shared with us the results of my blood and urine analysis. Everything looks great!

Oh my goodness!!! That is the most precious thing I have ever seen! I am more excited to be Aunt Nichole for your little one than I am with my own "real" nieces. Love you guys!
