Life with Baby Class

It has been so long since I've written, mostly because my computer is on the fritz (I'm on Justin's right now). CO was awesome and I'll definitely share more about that later, I'm just waiting to get the pictures back so that I can include them.

Yesterday, Justin and I took a class at the hospital I am delivering at. It was called 'Life with Baby'. I was really looking forward to it because I thought it would be a chance to socialize with other expecting couples. Well, we didn't really get an opportunity to socialize with the other couples, but it was fun and interesting. We learned about newborn appearances, states, and signs and symptoms to look out for. We also practiced bathing, dressing, diapering, and swaddling a newborn on a baby doll (Justin was pro :). I think the best part of the class was when we watched part of the 'Happiest Baby on the Block' DVD. It was soooo helpful! I would really like to own either the book or DVD. Now I am looking forward to our next class: the Childbirth Preparedness class, which includes a hospital tour.

Thats all for now. I'll post about CO and the awesome shower my mom threw me as soon as I get those pictures back.
