33 week Ultrasound

Had another Dr appt yesterday. Nothing really new to report, but I did get another ultrasound. The ultrasound tech was awesome! She went through each body part (as she took the measurements she needed) and showed me everything. Usually they just take their measurements and every once in awhile will show you a cute profile shot. Anyway, she kept saying things like "look at those kidneys, they are perfect!". She definitely assured me that everything looked great on my little girl, and the Dr concurred. The McNugget is nearly 5 lbs now. Can you believe it?

As for me, I am doing ok. I only gained 2 lbs since my last appt, which is good. I was a little worried since I did not eat the healthiest while in CO. My blood pressure is still higher than the Dr would prefer but is staying consistent (w/o medication) so that is good. Still, my doctor is pretty sure she is going to induce about a week early. When I return from my Dad's wedding, I will start the weekly appointments, which will now include nonstress tests to make sure I have not developed preeclampsia.

We are in the final stretch now! Just a little more than a month and I'll be holding my little girl :) It also looks like my Mom & Step-Dad, my Dad & (my soon-to-be step-mom, but I just call her) Crystal, and Justin's Mom & Step-Dad are all going to make it for the birth, which is so exciting! Justin's Dad and Step-Mom will join us just a few weeks later for Thanksgiving. We are crossing our fingers that Taryn will be able to make it out at some point too.

This one is my favorite even though it is probably the hardest to make out. So, this shot is looking down at her face. You can see her nose, lips, and left cheek. I love it because those full lips definitely take after her mama :)

This is her foot pressing up against my belly, which I definitely feel.

And this is of course the obligatory profile shot. Notice her lips are slightly open. Because she is so much bigger, and there is less room for her to move around, it is harder to get good shots.
