Mom got a job, Baby got a tooth

Raven finally got her 1st tooth! Justin and I spotted it a few nights ago, and this time it is for real ;) It seems like she has been teething forever, poor thing. I tried to take a picture of the new white nub, but baby wasn't having it. I'll keep trying though ;)

I also have something new going on, and that is a new job. I took a part-time job at JcPenney Portrait Studio at the beginning of the month to help pay the mortgage. As it turns out, I love it! It is super fun to photograph cute little babies all day, and my boss said that my training session (where I photographed teddy bears instead of actual babies) was the best she has ever seen (not to toot my own horn or anything, but...toot, toot ;). Anyway, we still have some kinks in the childcare schedule to work out (the job doesn't quite pay enough for Raven to be in daycare), but I'm hopeful we will get that all squared away soon. In the meantime my awesome new boss has been very flexible with me, which is much appreciated.

So life is good :) Justin and I celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary tomorrow, and then get to spend memorial weekend together as a family (I usually work weekends, but took Sunday off). So I am definitely looking forward to spending some nice quality family time together, which will probably mostly consist of working on the new house.
