Yesterday was Raven's 4 month appointment and it was very exciting. We saw my former pediatrician, whom was also my parents' pediatrician. My grandmother & grandfather came with us and Dr. Morchower even remembered us. Here is a picture:
We found out that Raven is tiny for her age, 12.2 lbs and 23.5in (both in the 25th percentile), but Dr. Morchower said she is healthy and looks great. She even gets to start solids this month. She had a very little bit of rice cereal last night, but it was mixed with her formula and I don't think she even noticed the difference.
Dr. Morchower asked if she is rolling over and I said not yet, but then today she had a moment of brilliance. Ok, it wasn't a complete roll from tummy to back, but pretty close, and I think it counts. She was on her tummy, when I turned around to grab her a toy. When I turned back, she was like this:
Pretty good, right? I haven't been able to get her to do it again, yet, but we will keep trying.

Its been a pretty great week so far, and we are excited to go look at more houses this weekend. We'll let you know how it goes.

ReplyDeleteI think it is so cool that you are taking Raven to Dr. Morchower. You know how much we love him and to think 3 generations and he looks exactly the same to me, i would recognize him anywhere! I love you, Mom (Granny Kat)
