Under "Observation"

Well, today's Dr appt was interesting. Because of some abnormal lab work, my doctor is a little concerned that I may be developing pre-eclampsia. She said "technically I should go ahead and deliver you today, but lets send you over to the hospital for observation and take it from there". So, off to the hospital I went. There they ran a few more tests and took my blood pressure every 10 minutes. After only about an hour my blood pressure was back to normal. Apparently the blood work came back normal too, because they said I could go home. I have to go back tomorrow though, for more testing. It is looking more and more like an early induction is possible. Luckily they keep telling me that the baby looks great. In fact, I think that is why they didn't go ahead and induce today. The nurse said, "baby looks perfectly happy in there". I just hope she stays that way.
