Had another doctor's appointment today. She said I'm still having contractions, but no more dilation or effacement than before. Still, she said that McNugget looks great and that I can "go ahead and have the baby whenever" :). I'd prefer her to stay put until family arrives, but luckily that is only a couple weeks away. The ultrasound indicated that she is now about 6 lbs and has a full head of hair (guess she takes after me, as Justin was a bald baby). Here are the two of us at a few days old.

It has been so wonderful having Mima here. She has really helped me take care of a lot of needed chores around the house, and other things to help prepare for baby. We even ended up putting a temporary nursery together in our study. We weren't planning on doing that since our lease is up in Dec. and McNugget will be sleeping in our room in the meantime, but I think having a changing table and dresser will really help a lot. I'll post some pictures once we finish. (Thanks so much to Mom and Dave for the furniture!)
We also received the travel system (stroller and carseat) today, that Connie and Mark bought for us! Now, all we need to do is get it installed and we will be ready for the little one's arrival. Hospital bag is packed and in the car.
Justin and I have our last date night before baby planned for this Saturday. Hopefully we can still make that happen. More updates to come.
