Big Month

May was a fabulous month! So many wonderful things! It started with an incredible weekend trip to Vegas, just Jus and I. We walked the strip a lot, shopped, ate at some yummy restaurants, saw "Peepshow" with Holly Madison (which we both really liked), and even went clubbing once (I know, so totally not us, but we had fun :). The weekend we got back Shannon and Jimmy came to visit. We had a great time hanging out with them, mostly just taking it easy and playing boardgames :) but we also went to Six Flags and all had a really great time (Titan = one of the best roller coasters ever!). Raven was a trooper the whole day! After they left, my Dad came and hung out for a week. During that time Raven and I, along with my Dad, got to spend some quality time with our great friends the Hawks. Raven even helped make homemade bread. We also went with Mima and Papa to the Wildflower Festival that weekend. Raven had a blast at the petting zoo and playing in a fountain with all the other kiddos. It was a truly awesome weekend. Since then, we have been keeping super busy with Jus's game getting ready to ship, and the dance recital coming up in a couple weeks. So many fantastic things to look forward to this summer!
