Unfortunately, it was not such a great month for the health of the McSweeney family. Remarkably Raven has managed to stay healthy without so much as a diaper rash for 9 months, until a few weeks ago when she came down with Bronchitis. The pediatrician prescribed an antibiotic and she started to feel much better. However, two days after she finished the antibiotic she seemed to be sick again. The pediatrician said it was just a cold, but to keep a close eye on her because it can develop into an infection quickly. Well, quickly came on Thursday. I won't get into all the details but she is now on a new antibiotic and well, she already seems to be doing much better (of course not before it developed into a double ear infection). I too, was luckily enough to come down the cold, and now the ear infection tally in our home is up to 4. So far, Justin has escaped untouched from this illness, so please keep your fingers crossed that it stays that way (especially since his birthday is around the corner).
On the other hand Raven has also hit some amazing milestones this month. She's gone from an army crawl, to a real crawl (with her stomach off the floor). And she also has started pulling up to a stand. She super <3 s standing, it is all she wants to do even though she has some work to do on her balancing. We have been trying to capture it on film so we can post it, but have not been able to quite yet. I promise to post as soon as we do.
We had planned to have our house warming party tomorrow evening, but for obvious reasons we have postponed it.
