Of course you're all right. You're alive!

So the last few days have been kind of rough. For those of you that haven't heard, Raven, Justin and I were in a car accident on Saturday. Don't worry, everyone is ok :) , but our car is not :( . Luckily, my grandparents have loaned us one of their cars, as we only have the one. Thank you so much Mima and Papa!!! We really appreciate it.

Additionally I think Raven isn't feeling great. Not because of the accident, maybe just growing pains... I'm not exactly sure. She has just been sleeping a lot! Way more than usual. I know that probably sounds like most new mothers' dream (and it is at night), but I'm worried about her too. She is pretty fussy when she is awake, and has not been eating as much as I would prefer her to. Unfortunately, because Justin just switched jobs we have a little lapse in insurance. It kicks in again on Feb. 1st, so I'm just going to keep a close eye on her until then. One cool thing though, I just found out that the pediatrician my parents saw when they were a kid, which is the same pediatrician I saw, is still practicing. Isn't that crazy? So, we are going to take Raven to see him. I think it might blow his mind to know he has treated 3 generations. He is in his 70s now, but is still a very highly rated pediatrician. I'm sure he will retire soon, but until then, I think it is great that she will get to be his patient.

So things have been a little rough, but as I mentioned on my facebook page, I am still in a surprisingly good mood. My whole out look on life has really changed, and I have to assume that is from becoming a mother. I just seem to see the world in this whole new light, and see the positive in things, instead of dwelling on things I can't change. It is a much more pleasant way to live. Its like one of my favorite quotes (from the movie Garden State) "Of course you're all right. You're alive!"
